Typhoon contains enormous energy and can result in huge marine disasters. It is very valuable to study and forecast the Characteristic factors of the typhoon and the great waves caused by typhoon on coastal and ocean engineering. Because of the impact of the typhoon to wave height is the results of the typhoon's characteristic factors interactions and combined effect, and the impact mechanism is different, so focus on the Typhoon features on the mechanism of the different effects of waves and how to choose effective wave impact factor is the basic thing for building a mathematical model. Wave height for the impact of typhoon characteristics of the various features of factor analysis, and these features on the sea wave height is how to influence, though has always been of concern, but domestic and foreign research results in this respect less, and not the system integrity.Based on the above questions, the paper does the following concrete results:1) According to the law of the development and formation of typhoons, the paper uses the new mathematical method to analysis the correlation of the various features of typhoons. In order to analysis the mechanism of marine disasters caused by typhoon more scientific, the paper analysis the relationship between factors of typhoons. According to the traditional design wave height which not considered or only considered the frequency of typhoon, the new model take into account the various features on the extreme typhoon wave height ,so its more complex practical and more scientific and reasonable.2) The paper uses the analysis method of rank correlation coefficient to analysis the relationship between the typhoon features and marine factors, which can reflect the different levels of the impact on marine factors. According to the results we can select the important factors to build the new mathematical model. As a measure of harmony-rank correlation coefficient is a more flexible and robust correlation analysis tool, which is widely used in the field of nonparametric statistics, in particular, to study the correlation between random variables, and it can avoid the traditional linear correlation analysis many shortcomings.3) According to the analysis of the previous chapter, we choose out of three relatively independent factors of typhoon characteristics, and they are the frequency of typhoons occurring, the maximum wind speed near the bottom center and the minimum distance of the typhoon center to observation points. As the frequency of typhoon is a discrete random variable, therefore, the typhoon will be collected by the characteristic factor of two discrete data processing. According to the China Meteorological Administration issued a new level of standards by tropical cyclones, the maximum wind speed near the center of the typhoon as the underlying standards, by grade, calculating the Yellow Sea typhoon in two decades, the number of different levels, it is clear after this treatment into a discrete random variable; learn from arguably the typhoon center to the San and other measurements distance criteria for the classification, will be the center of the Yellow Sea to the typhoon from the measuring point is divided into 7 categories, calculated for 27 years the number of typhoons to enter each category, so this variable is discretized this. Thus, the three discrete variables are selected.4) The three discrete variables typhoon selected, derived on this basis, three-dimensional discrete-the maximum entropy compound extreme value model, based typhoon frequency, low-level maximum wind speed near the center, the center point of the shortest distance to the test this three-dimensional discrete vector obey the three-dimensional Possion distribution, and select the continuous random variable the distribution of wave height is the maximum entropy distribution. so since the new model not only can reflect the characteristics of typhoons over the amount of the impact on wave height, but also to maintain the greatest degree of uncertainty, more realistic law.5) Then, the paper uses the measured data to test new model. The new model can calculate the 20-year event, in 50 years, in 100 years and 200 years of the design wave height. The results with previous model results are compared compared with the actual data and analysis the advantages of the new method.
