Jinghe River estuary wetland is one of the main proportion in Ebnur Lake of Xinjiang. By using the method of space substituting time, phytoplankton community was investigated in Wetland of Jinghe River Estuar at different restoration stages. All the samplings were carried on qualitative and quantitative analysis in laboratory. Phytoplankton communities and biodiversity were examined by multivariate statistic analysis. The correlation between phytoplankton and environment was determined by Pearson analysis. The main results are as follows:At different restoration stages, The phytoplankton composition was dominanted by Chiorophyta and Bacillariophyta and their species number were 64 species belonging to 23 genera and 44 species belonging to 18 genera, respectively. Followed by Cyanophyta and Euglenophyta, their species number were 25 species belonging to 18 genera, and 13 species belonging to 6 genera, respectively. The species number of Chrysophyta, Pyrrophyta and Cryptophyta were all low. Number of phytoplankton species were 74 species in Natural site. Followed by the early and middle stage of restoration, their species number were 68 species and 63 species, the late stage of restoration was low, were 59 species, respectively. The abundance of phytoplankton in the middle and late stage of restoration were higher than those in the early stage of restoration and Natural site. The highest values was 91.98×10~4~103.07×10~4ind/L in the late stage of restoration, While the lowest ones was 40.84×10~4~47.03×10~4 ind/L in the early stage of restoration.Species number of Bacillariophyta was the most diversified division in the early and middle stage of restoration, while Chlorophyta was the most abundant in quantity. Bacillariophyta was dominated in the late stage of restoration. The structure of phytoplankton community was steady in Natural site and in the early stage of restoration, but that was not steady in the middle and late stage of restoration. The species composition and abundance in summer were higher than in spring and autumn. Species number and abundance of phytoplankton were 98 species and 110.43×10~4ind/L in summer, followed by the spring ,which were 91 species and 88.67×10~4ind/L, the autumn was low, which were 85 species and 36.7×10~4ind/L, respectively. In the spring and autumn, Bacillariophyta was the first dominant group in the phytoplankton community. In the summer, Chlorophyta became the main dominant species. Cyanophyta in the summer was higher than in spring and autumn.Canonical Correspondence Analysis of phytoplankton and environmental data for all sites showed temperature and salinity have the most influence on the phytoplankton community composition and abundance.
