Tongbai Guxian Cyanite Deposit is Located in the northeast of TongBai Guxian, the north Qinling orogenic subbelt in the east of Qinling orogenic belt, high-pressure metamorphic belt in North China and its geological characteristics is unique and its deposits has typical significance. This test studied emphatically on deposit Geological features and Metallogenic environment on the basis of metallogenic geological background research and analyses the Genesis of Tongbai Guxian Cyanite deposit. 1.The Stratum which exposed in the mine aeras of Tongbai Guxian Cyanite deposit is the minow mountain group strata of neoproterozoic erathem,which devided three rock layers top-down,the main ithologies are mica of quartz Schist, Muscovite of quartz Schist, plagioclase amphibolites, kyanite quartzite, quartzite, marble, plagioclase amphibolites foldered silicified marble.2.The deposit in a set of schist facies metamorphic rocks which is deposited of the minow mountain group strata belonged neoproterozoic erathem. The output of the orebody is controlled by the strata and spreads with quasi-lamellar structure and lensing; and which is occurred in mica of quartz Schist or contacted aera of mica of quartz Schis and plagioclase amphibolites; orebody and wall rock suffered varying degrees decorated changes; the quartz vein near the orebody is favorable to mineralization, the kyanite grains on vein wall are thick .3.The main mineral compositions of the ore are cyanite, quartz, white mica , a little of ilmenite , magnetite,and little topaz, rutile, boehmite;The main ore types are kyanite -type, kyanite- quartzite–type, kyanite- muscovite- schist-type;The main ore textuers are plate metaerystal texture, columnar and granular metaerystal texture, porphyritic metaerystal texture, granite flake metaerystal texture, the residual of account texture;The main ore constructions are blocked-structure, banded-structure, sheet- structure.4. The formation process of the deposit can be divided into two stages from the time: in the previous sedimentary metamorphic (regional metamorphism)stage,when the temperature is between 500℃and 620℃and the ore-forming pressure range is between 200 GPa and 400 GPa, the aluminiferous-riched and siliceous-riched sandstone with clay that is generated cyanite and quartz, which the cyanite initial enrichmented; in the later period that superposition of the transformation by the role of structural dynamics and the hydrothermal of gas stage,the muscovite generated into cyanite and quartz, which caused the cyanite enrichmented partion that generated thick crystal of high-guade ore.5.The Tongbai Guxian Cyanite deposit is a multi-stage caused stratabound deposits that the main mineralization is the regional metamorphism, and superposition transformed by the role of structural dynamics which supplemented by he hydrothermal of gas in the later period.And the deposit is generated in the environment that the sedimentary protolith dominated by sandy-rock.
