The northeast Yunnan province is important metallogenic region of Pb-Zn etc, and the one of 16 emphasis metallogenic regions for strengthening geological work in China. The complicated structures provide advantageous conditions for enriching mineral resources, and the complicated geo-engineering conditions. There are a series of problems that restrict mineral exploration and mining. Faults analysis is one of the meaningful tasks.The paper study the structures, the underlying problem of geology, with faults analysis method, and consider the question of quantitative analysis. The paper analysis faults, statistics fractal and simulated stress fields of Kuangshanchang-Daibu structure belt systematically, on the basis of considering the earth science and the overall system of philosophy, absorbing by work. Understanding and knowing the regional dynamics of a geological background on the basis, field survy. The key method is traditional theory of structural geology and tectonic analysis. The other methods and theories are nonlinear fractal, finite element numerical simulation method, AE stress measuring, RS and GIS. The following achievements have been made in this paper with the guidance of the above mentioned.(1) The study area is located in a triangle area of Xiaojiang, Yadu-Shuicheng and Mile-Shizong fracture. The form of NE structure system is characterized. India-Eurasian plates squeezed, eastern part of Tibet rotate to SE. The study area form the stress of NNE-SSE, which provided the background of geological structure dynamics.(2) Paper studied geometry and locomotion characteristics of faults systematically, and measured excellent accounts of data. Then analysis geological structure dynamics characteristic by structure analysis methods and observed faults' faces. The paper concluded characteristic of the major direction faults (NE, NNE, close to SN, close to EW and NW) in structure mechanical properties, tectonic rock types and their shape change.(3) The faults'spatial distribution characteristic is fractal. Fractal values describe the complexity of the faults, and it can be served as the quantitative indicators of faults complexity in spatial distribution.(4) Application of the improvement method of analysis stress field by drainage, get the stress field, which is in the arm of the true structure field. The maximum principal stress traces, analysis by drainage, can display the principal stress spatial distribution.(5) Using the finite element method, combining general analysis software Asnsys, the paper simulated the stress field numerically, and summarized the characteristic of principal stress traces and the contour line distribution of maximum principal stress.
