China is on a fast track to have more wind farms. This gives the challenge to the power system planning and operation. This thesis researches the linear programming algorithm based Balmorel model, and then uses the model to study the wind power accommodation. The main contents are as follows:(1) Introduce the Balmorel model's background and its application, summarize model's simulation platform-GAMS, objective function, constraints, unit characteristics and solving method in detail.(2) According to the situation of large-scale wind power accommodation in China, modify and develop the Balmorel model, use Balmorel timing production simulation model Bb3 in the analysis of example system's wind power accommodation, verify the effectiveness of the new adding constraints and analyze the sensitivity of model parameters.(3) Research the power balance method for wind power accommodation, use Balmorel timing production simulation model Bb3 to analyze the real power system's wind power accommodation, and compare the differences of these two methods to illustrate the advantages of the model in wind accommodation study.(4)Research the duality theory and KKT-condition, introduce the regional electricity price algorithm, apply Balmorel timing simulation model Bb3 to analyze the real-time electricity price after wind power accommodation, apply Balmorel long-term optimization model Bb2 to research the power system's planning considering the wind power accommodation. |
