Since The 21st century, many countries and regions have different levels of construction of CORS, Shenzhen, Wuhan, Kunming and other citys also established the city-level CORS firstly in China. CORS are widely used in many industries and fields because of its high precision, advanced communications technology, and strong real-time advantages. Because of its wide range of applications, the stability of CORS is particularly important. at present, people focus most of its research priorities in its application for the short history of its development. KMCORS was started to found in 2004 and upgraded in 2008 for the GPS/GLONASS binary star system, it has become an important part of the infrastructure of Kunming urban spatial data, and played a great effect in city planning, construction and development of many industries in Kunming. Therefore, there is a great significance that the stability analysis for KMCORS.Firstly, in accordance with the history of the development of CORS technology, the article introduced the GPS carrier phase measurements, Differential GPS technology, RTK, network RTK technology and related knowledge, and then illustrates the working principle of CORS and its basic components. This article focuses on introducing the content and method of stability analysis for CORS, the stability analysis mainly includes reference station data quality analysis, changes of the baseline between stations and reference station coordinate variation and trend analysis; stability analysis method to KMOCRS for the object, in this paper, it is detailed description of quality analysis for the raw data, the selection of ITRF points for Solution to the CORS in regional Network, within the framework of relative stability and selected according to spatial location within the framework of the changes. In addition, installation and using of GAMIT are also described in detail in this paper, because of the requirements for special high-precision GPS data processing.Based on the research for improving the GPS test field by Mapping product quality supervision and check point of Yunnan Province, this paper selected eight IGS stations to constitute regional networks with KMCORS, refering to the principle of selection of the ITRF points used internationally, while considering the form of regional networks and the special relationship between KUNM station and KMCORS. The paper shows the stability of KMCORS clearly and intuitively through the baseline calculating and adjusting process for the regional networks. That provides a meaningful reference for future monitoring and analysis of KMCORS, and playes a positive role of maintenanting dynamic base for Kunming and ensuring that CORS users are able to get accurate positioning.
