The Design Of Real-time Digital Hologram Reconstruction System By VB And Matlab Mixed Programming

Digital holography applies the photoelectric sensor (such as CCD or CMOS) instead of holographic plate to record images, then we store these images to the computer to reappear or handle the recorded objects by using the simulation of optical diffraction. Real-time digital holography is that making the computer dealing with reappearance while it is sampling holographic images, so the observer can know the situation about the objects currently (e.g. the change of shape, temperature, displacement and so on.).There are three main problems of realizing real-time digital holography technology. Firstly, the reliability of the arithmetic, secondly, the performances of the hardware, and the third, we should design a common sampling scheme with all kinds of CCD or CMOS sampler, especially the first two points are very important, these are also the key factors that there are no finished products on Real-time digital holography technology until now. Synthesizing all the factors and with the available hardware frame, we put forward a method which is VB and Matlab hybrid programming to solve the problems of realizing real-time digital holography technology. Firstly, we make the Graphical User Interface (GUI) by utilizing the convenient and easy-understanding performances of VB to complete the real-time digital holography sampling, then, we send the images to the DLL which created by COM components to finish data processing, at last, we send back the reappearing results back to Windows operating system, and we can observe the results according to the GUI which was made by VB. We synthesize all the steps mentioned above to form a integrated software holo V1.3. It is very successful to measure the change of electric iron's temperature, organic glasses'stress and the cane sugar grains'movement in the water currently.There are many problems making use of the method of hybrid programming. It has been represented which have been already existed or which would like to happen. By testing and then improving this software many times, now it shows high reliability and compatibility of windows operating system.
