The south region of Liaodong peninsula was located in the Jiaoliaochao block,and the Neoproterozoic stratum of this region belongs to Huabei stratigraphic region. Stratigraphic division and correlation of the south region of Liaodong peninsula could provide the basis for Neoproterozoic stratigraphic correlation of Jiaoliao-Xuhuai region,and thus promote the research of China's Neoproterozoic Erathem.Though the study of Neoproterozoic Erathem was more,there was still some questions.In this thesis,the south region of Liaodong Peninsula was selected as the studied area. Based on the typical sections and previous datas,theories and methods of lithostratigraphy, biostratigraphy,chronostratigraphy,event stratigraphy and the Palaeomagnetism were used to classify vertically the Neoproterozoic Erathem and controversial groups and formations were mainly discussed.Next Neoproterozoic lateral distribution and evolution of environment of sedimentation of the studied area was analysed by means of stratigraphic isopach map.Finally, combining with regional geological background,Neoproterozoic Erathem of the studied area was comparised with the adjacent area.The results show that Xingmincun Formation was the Neoproterozoic upper bound of the studied,and Yongning Formation was the bottom bound.Neoproterozoic Erathem of the studied area deposit between Qingbaikou System and Nanhua System for about 650-900Ma. Neoproterozoic lateral distribution decreased from southeast to northwest as a whole except Yongning Formation,Diaoyutai Formation,Nanfen Formation.Jingeryu Formation of Yanshan Region could contrast with Nanfen Formation of the studied,and Changlongshan Formation was equivalent to Diaoyutai Formation.Neoproterozoic Erathem in the South of Jilin could be compared with Neoproterozoic Erathem in the studied area.Baifangzi Formation compared with Yongning Formation.Diaoyutai Formation,Nanfen Formation and Qiaotou Formation in the South of Jilin contrasted respectively with Diaoyutai Formation,Nanfen Formation and Qiaotou Formation in the studied.Badaojiang Formation contrasted with Shisanlitai Formation. Neoproterozoic Erathem in Xuhuai Region could compare with Neoproterozoic Erathem in the studied area in respect of lithology, paleontology, isotopic age, event stratigraphy and paleomagnetism.Finally,stratigraphic correlation schemes was established of Yanshan region,south region of Jilin,south region of Liaodong peninsula and Xuhuai region.
