Aerial photogrammetry is a chief technology composition of information surveying and it plays a fundamental role in spatial data acquisition. The direct georeferencing (DG) gets the exterior orientation (EO) parameters in a non-photogrammetry way. This method is different from the traditional photogrammetry which gets the EO by processing the images. This is a revolution about the theory and technology. The paper studies the hardware and the system calibration method based on key technique tackling of SWDC.This paper stresses on the research of the principal, method of the photogrammetry and inertial navigation based on the classical theories. The researching route is calibration of individual sensorsâ†'calibration between sensorsâ†'calibration of the integrated system. This paper analysis the errors of sub-systems by its theory, finds their rule in the mount by observing the feature of the errors, creates the mathematical model of the calibration, designs and builds the crane test field and the test flight field, and validates the mathematical model of the calibration.
