With most of the oil field into the late of development, development of adjustmentgradually go into-depth, production decrease, moisture content gradually increase, andoil-water distribution become more complex, all of these factors are important to study ondistribution of the remaining oil and tapping potential research. Fine understanding of thereservoir, the internal structure of the thick oil layer and the internal heterogeneity, thesefactors can provide reliable geological basis for the Remaining Oil Distribution. This paper take full advantage of the core-logging data, the High-resolution sequencestratigraphy, and the Principle of sedimentology, fine contrast all levels of the PL formationsequence on the Shengping oil-field, and finally establish a high-resolution sequencestratigraphic framework in Putaohua reservoir. Based on the framework, fine characterize thedistribution of sand body and fine study the characteristic of the sedimentary microfacies.Combination of infill wells, coring data to identify single sand body, construct the internalstructure model of a single sand body and study the internal heterogeneity of the sand body.Make full use of the history of closed coring, oil and water wells data, casing resistivitylogging data, flooding in the interpretation of the production of monitoring data, combinationof the well network injection and relationship analysis, and the cause of the remaining oil typequantify various types of remaining oil, all of these factors can provide a solid geologicalbasis for the development of the tapping potential area.
