The application of Nano-composite thin films is extensive, e.g. photovoltaic technology, biotechnology and energy technology. At present, the sol-gel method is one of the mostcommon membrane technologies; it has many advantages of simple process, materialsaving, low sintering temperature, high purity and uniformity. The SnO2is one of the most representative semiconductors. It has been widelyused in the field of gas sensors, thin film resistors, electric conversion layer, solar cells, andtransparent electrodes. Pure SnO2is a broad spectrum of sensitive material, but the selectivity, sensitivity and reliability factors is not very satisfactory. At present, the TiO2is widely used asadditives or substrates, because of its non-toxic, chemically stable, etc.Based on previous research on the subject (doped single metal elements Cu, TiO2), anddomestic and international research status, the subject has selected SnO2metal oxides asmatrix, mixed-doped metal element CuTiO2, FeTiO2. The gas sensing reaction occursin ethanol and acetone, and to use the spectrophotometer to test the optical reflectionspectrum. Respectively, study the return characteristic at room temperature, heat and light. The result indicates that the5%CuTiO2SnO2has the best gas sensing properties; itssensitivity is up to23.9%, followed by1%FeTiO2SnO2. After100℃heat for3minutes and infrared light for10minutes, the return characteristic is good. As the gassensitive optical detection has many advantages: the room temperature detection, highprecision and selectivity. You can try to inspect its value in practice.
