The circulating water is the lifeblood of petrochemical production, the stability of the circulating water quality could assure a long-term stable operation of the petrochemical enterprises. It could bring huge economic benefits for the enterprise, while at the same time it could reduce the environmental pollution and lay a solid basis for the water-saving and emission reduction.In the operation process of circulating water, it is generally to evaluate circulating water quality based on the classic index approach. However, the classic index approach could only give qualitative assessment of the characteristics of corrosion and fouling, and the evaluation results are not accurate. The research of the model and evaluation based on the petrochemical industry circulating water is based on the real-time circulating water quality data warehouse, take use of data preprocessing, principal component analysis and neural network methods. Through the data collection, integration, processing and mining of the circulating water quality data, return the raw data into information, in order to achieve the goal that makes a scientific evaluation of circulating water quality through the real-time water quality data.The research of this paper includes three parts:The collection and data pre-processing of the circulating water quality data. The process of preprocessing the basic data including data classification, data cleansing, data transformation and principal component analysis, it could lay data base for the establishment of comprehensive evaluation of water quality;The common used classic index are as follows: L.I. , R.I. , P.I. , C.I. , corrosion index, scaling index, here it calculates these classic paper index on the base data and evaluate the quality of the water quality;Take the principal component of the principal component analysis as the BP neural network input and take the water corrosion and fouling characteristics of the network output to establish circulating water quality model, the water quality model should evaluate the circulating water quality well and to provide a scientific foundation for the real-time circulating water quality evaluation.
