Free phthalocyanine, phthalocyanine complexes and their applications were simply introduced in this disseration. Using the pyrocatechol as raw material, 5,6-dinitrile-2,2-dimethyl-1,3-benzene dioxolane and 4,5-didodecyloxyphthalonitrile were prepared respectively by cyclization, bromination and cyanogen group replacement. Using 1, 8-diazabicyclo [5.4.0] undec-7-ene (DBU) as catalyst, the eight hydroxyl substituted copper phthalocyanine and 2,3,9,10,16,17,23,24-eight-(didodecyloxyphthalonitrile)-zinc phthalocyanine were synthesized respectively by liquid-phase method. The products were separated and purified by column chromatography and their structures were characterized by infrared spectroscopy and nuclear magnetic resonance spectrum techniques. UV-Vis spectrum properties of the synthesized metal phthalocyanine complexes were tested. The results showed that the prepared phthalocyanine complexes have obvious Q band and B band. Finally, the experimental results were analyzed and summarized in the dissertation. At the same time, the development prospect of the subject was to look into the future.
