β-Eucryptite powders was synthesized by sol-gel method, precipitation, hydrothermal and low temperature combustion method in this paper. The results showed that compared with other methods, sol-gel method, using citric acid as a complexing agent, the qualities of the powders were better. And the raw materials and processing, gel formation condition, calcination conditions on properties of the final product were detailed analysized.Sol-gel method, using anhydrous ethanol as solvent, and citric acid as a complexing agent, when the ratio of citric acid and metal ions was 2:1, pH=3, temperature control at 65℃, the gel obtained is Best.The powders were characterized by application of X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscope and other equipments. The results showed that:after treatment the precursors at 600℃, and then calcined at 1300℃, the final phase with high purity can be obtained, and theβ-eucryptite powders particle size was about 20nm~30nm. |
