UNsupported Molybdenum Phosphide (MoP) was prepared from an aqueoussolution of ammonium metal molybdenum and ammonium phosphate bydissolution, evaporation, calcinations and temperature-progamer reduction at the heating rate of 1K/min in hydrogen. Supported Molybdenum phosphide catalysts were prepared by mixing and co-impregnation method. The main purpose of this research lies in effecting of preparating condtions, Such as temperature and time of solution, temperature of reduction, container, passivation and so on. Supported Molybdenum phosphide catalysts were prepared by mixing and co-impregnation method.They were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD),CO2-TPD, H2-TPH and TG, The aim which is activity, sustainability and against coking of catalysis in CO2 reforming of CH4, meanwhile, an idea of preparing nickel catalysts Supported Molybdenum phosphide catalysts composite carriers is presented. The conclusions are as below:1) The activeities of is better than pure Molybdenum phosphide catalysts, the effect is best when the citric acid (CA) was added into a solution of (NH4)6Mo7O24.4H2O and (NH4)2HPO4.2) The time of solution can also effect the activities of catalysts, time is the longer, efficiency is better.when the time was 12 h, catalysis efficiency was first-rank.3) CO2 reforming of CH4 activities of the passivated catalysts was reduced catalyst as same as the fresh catalyst4) CO2 reforming of CH4 activities of MoP catalysts was first higher, then was lower, when the reduced temperature become higher and higher at 923K, the efficiency was optimization. The reason that was crystal lattice was unstable in lower temperature, but in high temperature was congregated.5) Although every headphosphide can produce MoP, the activities of MoP catalysts were different. (NH4)2HPO4 as headphosphide was optimum the stable and activity were optimization. 6) CO2 reforming of CH4 activities of catalysts and supported MoP catalyst synthesized by mixed and co-impregnation method. The MoP /γ-Al2O3catalyst containing 15% MoPshowed a higher reforming activity than other supported MoP catalyst.7) MoP catalyst containing promotor showed the activities can be improved, especially supported MoP catalyst was higher activities than pure MoP catalyst.
