The aluminum strip processed by aluminum is of widespread application in thehigh developed electronic industry. However the corrosion resistance property ofaluminum is poor and we can hardly solder them, which have limited the applicationand the development of aluminum strip to a great extent. Continuouslyplating nickelon aluminum strip is the best way to solve this question. But the nickel aluminumstrippreparedbythismethodpresentlyexhibitspoorpropertyofprocess.In allusiontothedisadvantages ofcontinuouslyplatingnickel onaluminum strip,we improve the traditional aluminum plating system by adding additives such assodium citrate to the Watt nickel plating system and optimizing plating parameters.Then we prepare the nickel aluminum strip of high extensibility, good fractureresistance and fine anti-corrosive performance which can be used in the electronicprofession. And we characterize the surface morphology and the crystal phasestructure of the nickel aluminum strip bySEM and XRD, analysis the essential effectfactors of the extensibility and the anti-corrosive performance to the nickel aluminumstrip. The concrete research content is as follow: The main conclusions what I havefoundinthisdissertationarethefollowingparts:(1) Copper with the thickness of 0.5μm is plated before the nickel plated onaluminum in order to enhance the cohesion between nickel cladding and aluminummatrix.(2) The influences on concentration of sodium citrate to the percentageelongation and corrosion resistance of nickel plated aluminum strip have beenresearched. The results turn out that when the concentration of sodium citrate is 40g/L and 60 g/L, the nickel plated aluminum strip respectively has the highestpercentageelongationandcorrosionresistance.(3) The influences on current densityto the percentage elongation and corrosionresistance of nickel plated aluminum strip with the sodium concentration of 40 g/Lhave been studied. The results turn out that percentage elongation and corrosionresistance of the nickel plated aluminum strip grows as the current density decrease.The percentage elongation and corrosion resistance of the nickel plated aluminumstrip reach to the highest as the current density of 2 A/dm~2. The influences on thethickness of nickel coating to he percentage elongation of nickel plated aluminum strip have been studied. The percentage elongation of nickel plated aluminum stripgrows as the thickness of nickel coating decrease.
