Coal spontaneous combustion fire is one of the major disaster in our mine, it not only lossed a lot of coal, but also caused heavy casualties of personnel; coal spontaneous combustion fire not only waste the coal resources, also caused severe environmental pollution and ecological balance of damage.This paper uses the way of the combination of the theoretical analysis,laboratory experiments and field tests, research mechanism of coal spontaneous combustion; through the analysis of the factors affecting coal spontaneous combustion in goaf, generalize characteristics of coal spontaneous combustion in high-gas coal goaf; through experimenting the collecting coal sample in laboratory, the tendency of spontaneous combustion of coal was detemined; CO and C2H4 was selected as indicator gas to forcast spontaneous combustion after coal samples programmed heating oxidation experiments beencarried out; by the study this paper integrated applied various control-extinguishment fire techniques controlled the spontaneous combustion of 1562(3) working face in pansan mine by stages and got good effect.
