| The addition effect of new sensitizer of XJ-1 and XJ-2,on the properties of the powdery ammonium nitrate explosive were studied in this paper, as well as it was considered the aluminum or both aluminum powder and XJ were added into powder AN explosive. Based on Kamlet formula, the explosive parameters were figured out with C laugudge program, which provided theoretical basis for explosive design. Furthermore, the detonation properties, mechanical sensitivity, thermal stability and hygroscopicity of the designed explosives were tested, the detail as follows:1. Theoretical explosion velocity and practical detonation velocity were compared and the relationship between them were achieved by means of linear fitting with Oringin software, even accurate forecast detonation velocity were achieved by further amending the computing procedure.2. The addition effect of XJ-1, XJ-2 and aluminum powder on the detonation propertiesThe explosives which contain the XJ-1, XJ-2 and aluminum powder were tested with detonation velocity, brisance, gap distance, working capacity in order to verify whether the performance were improved. According to the experiment, the appropriate formula were chosed and new type of industrial explosive was found,which cost and detonation properties are accorded with the actual requirements.3. The mechanical sensitivity and thermal sensitivity of designed formula.Partial samples of designed explosives were tested with mechanical sensitivity and thermal sensitivity, the result showed that the mechanical sensitivity are affected by addition XJ, and the mechanical sensitivity increased after aluminum powder added, this would affect the security of production, so the existing equipment cann't take advantage of aluminum-containing formulations and it must be decreased the sensitivity.4. Stability and hygroscopicity of new type of explosivesthe initial decomposition temperature, the activation energy calculated and the maximum decomposition rate of partial formulas were gained by using DSC and C-80 instruments. XJ adhering to the ammonium nitrate particles decreased the opportunity of ammonium nitrate particles to contact water vapor in the air, weakened the hygroscopicity of explosives and it would slow ammonium nitrate cacking in the explosives.5. The useage of existing technology and meeting of economy and securityIn this paper, the production cost was considered indirectly, the formulas were designed on condition that they are in accorded with economic efficency, the parameters (explosion heat, oxygen balance, detonation velocity, etc.) were figured out by programming with software. The new type of explosives shoud be produced by making full use of the existing process condition. |
