Synthesis Of Isocoumarins Via Cyclopalladated Ferrocenylimine-Catalyzed Annulation Of Internal Alkynes

In this thesis, the annulation of internal alkynes catalyzed by cyclopalladated ferrocenylimine was studied, which could be utilized for the facile synthesis of isocoumarins.Initially, the effects of catalyst, base, and additive on the reaction were investigated. The catalytic system employed Na2CO>3 as the base and LiC1/p-NO2C6H4COOH as the additive and could tolerate various functional groups (e.g., MeO, COOMe, CHO, OH, COCH3 and Me3Si), affording the corresponding products in moderate to good yields (SchemeⅠ).
