The solid Synthesis of tetranitro-metallophthalocyanine was carried out using 4-nitro-phthalimide, urea and metal chloride as starting materials. Then tetraaminometallophthalo-cyanine can be prepeaded easily by using the reductive sodium sulfide nonahydrate. Using Cl-TAPcZn as the initiator, which was obtained after Zinc of tetraaminophthalocyanine was modified by 2-Chloropropionyl chloride, CuBr/Me6TREN as the catalyst system, N-isopropylacrylamide was polymerized via atom transfer radical polymerization(ATRP) in DMF/water. Complexes were characterized by IR, UV-Vis and 1HNMR. The results showed that the metallophthalocyanines were successfully synthesized at the present experimental conditions. Upon visible light irradiation in the presence of H2O2 and using tetraaminometallophthalocyanine(TAPcM) and the polymer of phthalocaynines(TAPcZn-PNIPA) as the catalyst respectively, we studies the catalytic efficiency of the degradation of Rhodamine B. The experiments indicated that both of them had good catalytic activity, and the effects of pH value, concentration of catalyst and H2O2 on the catalytic oxidation were existed, and when pH=2, Rhodamine B dosage 40mg/L, the catalyst dosage 1×10-3 mol/1, irradiated by visible light for 3h, Rhodamine B was decolored near 96.44% using the H2O2 dosage 2ml and TAPcM as catalyst, and near 94.68% using the H2O2 dosage 3ml and TAPcZn-PNIPA as catalyst.
