The large of cyanophytes cause by the eutrophication becomes a serious problem of environment pollution to the water and some animals. The harm of MC creat by the large of cyanophytes as a big problem to the human.A great amount of cyanophytes(mainly consisted of microcystis) is observed to appear in Chaohu Lake of China.The cyanophytes and the armamentarium which creat by the cyanophytes are big problems.But the cyanophytes contains protain, amino acid, fat and some other nutrition substances.Use the resources credted by cyanophytes have many method.Tf human want to use there resources must detect than beginning.If we use Chemical instruments to check the content of MC-LR in different sample,there need a lot of money.This article will check the method which use Hydra magnipapillata to research the content of MC in the samples.The main results as follow:1. To evaluate the acute toxic effect of microcystins on the model aquatic-organisms. The acute toxicities of MC-LR on Hydra magnipapillata at different concentrations were studied in this paper. The 24h's Median lethal concentr-ation (LC50) of MC-LR on Hydra magnipapillata is 12.158mg/L,48h's LC50 is 4.029mg-/L,72h's LC50 is 1.799 mg/L. The Hydra will die treated with a relatively 1-ow concentration of MC-LR's solution, and thus the Hydra and some other aquatic anima-ls are endangered in the cyanobacterial bloom water.This research will supply some usefuldata for the monitoring and evaluation of water pollution.2. To evaluate the acute toxic effect of microcystins on the model aqu-atic or ganisms. Calculated the safe concentration and 96h of the LCso,then use the logar-ithmic spacing to set 7 concentrations of MC-LR to research the chronic toxicity, every concentration have five repeat.the7 concentration are 524.8μg/L,263.0μg/L, 131.8μg/L,66.07μg/L,33.11μg/L,16.60μg/L,8.318μg/L. Developing 20 generations of Hydra magnipapillata to research the chronic toxicity by MC-LR on Hydra mag nipapillata. The results show that, the chronic toxicity of MC-LR on Hydra mag-nipapillata is obviously, and MC-LR is harmful to the stocks of Hydra.3. Monitor MC-LR of some cyanobacteria resources products by HPLC. In t- his experimental,select the mainly samples are the sample of decomposition of cy-anobacteria and the sample of cyanobacteria compost, used to study biological de-tection sensitivity. The selected samples:the 7days of cyanobacteria hydrolysis's sa-mple and the sample of cyanobacteria compost,extract the MC of each sample,pr-ovide to HPLC detection and sensitivity analysis of Hydra. Experimental results s-how that the Hydra is sensitive to Extraction of samples of microcystins.4. Analysis the toxicity of the extraction of microcystin samples on Hydra, by comparing the analysis experimental results to analysis the sensitivity and effectiveness of detect microcystin by Hydra.The results showed that:Hydra can be used for detection of MC-LR. Biological detection accuracy is not as high as chemical methods,but if the method have high sensitivity,it can be used in the monitoring of MC of Cyanobacteria resources products...
