The flow state of molten plastic in the cavity is the major factor which can influence the final quality of product during the process of injection molding, and the runner system is used to transmit the molten plastic, so whether the runner system is reasonable or not will effect flow state of the fusant directly. Usually, designers determine runner system by their experiment, and adjust the dimension of gate and runner by die trial and die repairing constantly to find the best plan. But it's really difficult to get precise dimension by experiment when the product has complex shape and high exterior quality requirement.Numerical simulation is combined with the genetic algorithm on account of the particularity of up-shell of a digital media in bicolor injection molding, the genetic algorithm is used as a global regulation search tool while testing the correctness and validity of the genetic algorithm progam by using a test function firstly and searching best parameters of runner system based on AMI software and finally obtaining the optimum process with the requirement of weld-line position, warpage, and volume.Firstly, Moldflow analyse is executed in this article, and get some failure parameters such as weldline, warpage of product and runner system parameters. Then, set a model for optimum of parameter above including elimilating weldline, decreasing warpage and runner position optimum. Finally, make a comparation between optimum result and original design, certify that this research is superior and feasible.
