| 2205 duplex stainless steel is the second generation new-style N-containing duplex stainless steel. It has nearly equal proportions of ferrite and austenite after solution treatment. 2205 duplex stainless steel mainly consists of 22%Cr, 3%Mo and 7% Ni. It has good strength and superior corrosion resistance. 2205 duplex stainless steels are widely used in petrochemical, chemical, metallurgy, construction, food and medical instrument.There is a strict requirement for 2205 duplex stainless steels corrosion resistant due to they are used in relative complicated environment. The industrial 2205 duplex stainless steel cold sheets were studied in this paper. The corrosion behavior of 2205 duplex stainless steel in solution with different Cl- concentration, pH value, temperature was studied by potentialdynamic scanning polarization technique and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy technique. The research of the factors that influenced the corrosion resistance of 2205 duplex stainless steel shows that, the capacity of resist corrosion increase with lower the temperature or the concentration of Cl-, but decrease with the value of pH decreasing. The polarization curves of samples in different heat treatment process were observed to obtain corrosion datas at different heat treatment temperature, aging time and different cooling time. The microstructure of the samples was also observed by optical microscope to study the effect of the microstructure on corrosion behavior.The corrosion data of 2205 duplex stainless steel was obtained and studied under different conditions, which clarified main factors that influenced the 2205 duplex stainless steel corrosion resistance and its corrosion mechanism. It provides theoretical basis and practical significance for 2205 duplex stainless steel intelligent use in petrochemical, chemical, metallurgy, construction, food and medical instrument. |
