In recent years, it has been caused increasing building energy consumption with the rapid development of the construction industry. If the latent heat of phase change materials are mixed with building material and applied to the exterior–protected construction,which can effectively increase the thermal storage performance of the building and control the fluctuation of the room temperature to get the comfort temperature.Thus the heating and air conditioning of the building would be not use or use less energy to achieve the purpose of energy saving.In this thesis, microencapsulated phase change materials were synthesized by means of interfacial polymerization method and the properties were test, firistly. As a green material widely used, the gypsum-based phase change material was prepared by the microcapsules compared with the gypsum. The phase change construction materials were test on Storage (release) heat capacity, apparent morphology, durability and thermal performance, respectively. The results show that the composite has the appropriate kind of phase phase transformation temperature and significant storage (release) heat capacity, and good thermal performance.Secondly,paraffin as the phase change material, compared with the gypsum by the immersion method,and the gypsum-based phase change material was prepared by the best preparation conditions. The performance of composites material was research and test, The results show that these materials were not conducive to use in practice,because these materials have the appropriate kind of phase phase transformation temperature and significant storage (release) heat capacity, but the poor durability, and appeared leakage in the course of transition cycle.Finally,the storage test were carried out under the simulated environment to test the effect of energy storage of the gypsum-based phase change material.The results showed that the developed phase change energy storage gypsum boards have good energy storage effect.
