| Schiff base was syntheticed by o-vanillin and 4,4'-diaminodiphenyl ether.The effects of reaction solvents, time, temperature and molar ratio on yield of Schiff base were examined. The optimum condition of synthesis was as followed:solvent is tetrahydrofuran, temperature is 35℃, reaction time is 1h, the molar ratio of o-vanillin with 4,4'-diaminodi-phenyl ether is 2:1, the yield of Schiff base is up to 69.7%. Schiff base have been synthesized that proved by FT-IR,1H NMR,13C NMR, elemental analysis.O-vanillin with o-phenylenendiamine as raw materials, the Schiff base was syntheticed with reference to the above reaction condition. The yield of Schiff base is up to 92.7%. Schiff base have been synthesized that proved by FT-IR, elemental analysis,1H NMR,13C NMR. Metal complexes were syntheticed by the Schiff base with nickel, cobalt, manganese acetate. the yield of nicke, cobalt, manganese complexe is up to 63.7%,59.1%, 49.6%.The metal complexes have been synthesized that proved by FT-IR, TG, elemental analysis, and the nickel complexe was proved by 1H NMR.Nickel, cobalt, manganese metal complexes as catalysts catalyzed epoxidation of styrene, found that metal complexes of styrene epoxidation had some catalytic effect. The effects of reaction time, temperature and the different molar ratio of styrene, complexes and oxidants on yield of epoxidation were examined. The cobalt complex was chosen by comparison of catalytic epoxy, the optimum condition of synthesis was as followed: n(cobalt complexe):n(styrene):n(NaC102)=1:100:120temperature is 20℃, reaction time is 5h, the yield of epoxidation is up to 17.2%. The epoxidation products were analyzed by GC, GC-MS. The main products of epoxidation were as followed:benzaldehyde, phenylacetal-dehyde, ethylene styrene, a-chloro acetophenone. |
