With the development of industrial production and the increasing of living standards, the requirements for the coating performance have become stricted gradually.The development trend of the coating industry is transforming to environmentally friendly. Due to its excellent performance, organic silicon resin has attracted great attentions, and the advantages of organic silicon resin are high hardness and high wear resistance performance. The silicon-oxygen bond in main chains can satisfy the technology requirements on hard wear-resistant coatings. In order to optimize its performances to meet industrial applications, the study in the organic silicon resin was carried out.In this paper, the coating film formed from TEOS hydrolyzate was studied. Firstly, the influences of the parameters hydrolysis in TEOS hydrolysis process (hydrolysis compositions, hydrolysis degree, hydrolysis temperature, hydrolysis time, charging sequence) were studied. The results showed that: when water-TEOS ratio = 0.8, alcohol-TEOS ratio = 1, catalyst-TEOS ratio = 0.05, it has the good performance of coating; pencil hardness>6H, with the temperature increasing, the coating remains good membrane, the membrane can resist the tempreture up to 160℃. The experiment resin acceptor can be added to improve the coating adhesive force, KH560 was the better resin acceptor. After solidification about 10min at 80℃, the coating still had continuous film, high hardness. The top coat paints prepared with the parameters which had been optimized, the coatings had high hardness, good adhesion, good corrosion resistance (16h no rust point found).The coating was prepared by hydrolyzed tetraethoxysilane with the fluorescent paint which had high hardness, glow in the dark paint. The defects of long lasting luminous coatingt(off powder, poor adhesive force) was studied. The results showed: adhesive force reduced to 3 degree, hardness decreased to 2H. Three aspects to modified performance of luminous coating was studied, such as the membrane material, resin acceptor and changing padding. The various performances of coatings were discussed, the electrochemical behavior of the coating in 3.5% NaCl solution was studied. In the early immersion period, the pigments and fillers powder in the coating dissolved. It is can be concluded top coat coating can block the electrolyte solution, the coating has corrosion resistance in some way. And it is verified that the ratio of added KH560 10mass% had a better corrosion resistance.Widely applied metal powder coatings were explored and developed out of consideration for diversity of coatings. Combined with the infiltration rate of measurement results of adding flake aluminium,the addition of flake aluminum powder makes the coating compact non water self-osmosis, water can resistance up to 4246min. Water resisting property and corrosion resistance after soaked in the brine system could be improved by adding flake-shaped aluminum powder, But the adhesion of three still could not meet expectations. So it remains to be further studied.Coatings with different pigments and fillers were prepared,which displayed characteristics with excessive innerstress,easy cracking and poor adhesion.
