This paper studied the comparison between dynamic and static experiments for the adsorbing OH~- of Ca-modified and Mg-modified clinoptilolite at 20℃, finding that in dy-namic experiment the modified clinoptilolite obviously had better capability of adsorbing OH~- than that in static experiment. Furthermore, at 10℃,20℃and 30℃it respectively st-udied the adsorbing OH~- capability of Ca-and Mg-modified clinoptilolite in different alka-li solutions of different concentrations, and the results showed that increasing of tempera-ture was good for adsorbing OH~- in alkali solutions with modified clinoptilolite. In otherwords, this process belonged to endothermic reaction. Along with the rising concentrationof OH~- in alkaline solution, the modified clinoptilolite gradually absorbed more OH~-,andMg-modified clinoptilolite could absorb more OH~- than Ca-modified clinoptilolite.Using hydrochloric acid and sulfuric acid as desorption agent, the influence of deso-rption agent concentration, the type of desorption agent and the desorption temperature on the desorption results of Ca-modified and Mg-modified clinoptilolite was studied, and theconclusions were as follows:the optimum desorption temperature was 50℃; in terms of desorption effect, hydrochloric acid was better than sulfuric acid;for Ca-modified clinoptil-olite that adsorped OH~-.The best concentrations of HCl and 1/2H2SO4 was 0.5mol/L and 1.0mol/L, and the adsorption quantity of K~+ was respectively 20.29 mg/g zeolite and 19.83 mg/g zeolite; with regard to Mg-modified clinoptilolite that adsorped OH~-,the optimumconcentrations of HCl and 1/2H2SO4 were 0.3 mol/L and 0.3 mol/L, and the adsorption quantity of K~+ was respectively 18.67 mg/g zeolite and 17.24 mg/g zeolite.
