Research On The Form Aesthetic Of French Classical Chair Based On The Characteristic Of Eye Moving

French classical furniture has been more and more popular in the people of themiddle class and youth. But at present,the design of french classical furniture inChina,still has many deficiencies and defects. How to design a french classicalfurniture that both has the pure french classical culture and in accordance withchinese aesthetics is an important subject.Based on the French classical chair as the research object, firstly summarizesthe characteristic of french classical furniture style, and generalizes the all type ofFrench classical chairs. And then get the eye data of subjects through the eyetracker when they watching pics of French classical chairs, to study the Frenchclassical chairs modeling presents visual characteristics,based on eye-movementpsychology analysis method,and with a subjective questionnaire, to analyze thevisual aesthetic of French classical chairs from hole to the part, and explores theeffect that sculpture and patterned on the French classical chair's visual aesthetic,finally obtains the characteristics and laws of French classical chair's visualaesthetic. The main results are as follows:(1)The subjects' visual attention on each style of chairs is unity and regularity,the same style chairs get same visual attention.Studying found that, the visualattention of Louis XIII style chair is the leg, Louis XIV, Louis XV, Louis XVI stylechairs' backrest visual attention is higher, the visual attention of Empire style chairis the armrest. In addition,the preference of subjects to the same style chairs is notuniform, attention and preference is also not uniform.Taking Louis XIV chairs asan exemple, the most attentive part of chairs with doe legs and X-shaped stretcheris the backrest, the favorite part is the leg, and the most attentive part of chairswith console legs and H-shaped stretcher is the backrest, the favorite part is thearmrest.(2) In the contrast of hole form between different styles of French classicalchair, Louis XIV chairs get the most attention,and the subjects like Louis XVchairs most. Differences in gender, males were more concern about Louis XIVchairs, and more like Louis XIII chairs; women are more concern and like LouisXV chairs, Differences in profession, the professional group was more like LouisXIV and Louis XV chairs.(3) In the contrast of local form of every style of French classical chair, there is great difference in the preference and visual attention of subjects to leg, backrestand arnrest of different style chair, and gender have certain effect on the visualattention and preferences, which is the considerations in French chair design.(4) Engraving and pattern can raise the visual attention of French classicalchair, and more complicated engraving, more visual attention.Chairs with plantpattern have more visual attention than chairs with geometric pattern.The effect ofdefferent amount Engraving and type pattern on the preference of chairs, has noregularity.But the study found, men are more concerned with and like morecomplex chairs, and also more like chairs with plant pattern.
