Investigation On Manufacture Technology Of Special Welding Wires And Its Welding Properties For Three Kinds Of Cast Aluminium Alloy

Recently years,more and more exported cast aluminium alloy product require the special welding wires possessed the same composition with it.So,the investigation on manufacture technology of welding wires is important.In this paper, the welding wires is produced by hot extrusion and drawing which are used to process deforming aluminium alloy. The problem that the exported cast aluminium alloy product require the welding wires possessed the same composition with it is solved by this hot extrusion-drawing technology. This technology is easy to run and the quality of welding wires is good.The machine for drawing is made ourselves and it works well. The welding wires is tested by the weld experiment.The conclusion is following:The blank of cast aluminium alloy welding wires is heated until the temperature is reached 530℃.Keep this temperature 30minutes,then extrude at the extrusion ratio 100:1 and anneal the extruded wire on 420℃before each drawing step.The sizes of drawing mould are d=3.5mm,d=2.7mm,d=2.0mm.The drawing speed is 15m/min.The welding wires is produced by the hot extrusion-drawing technology successfully and its quality of surface is good.Welded joints of ZL101A,ZL105A,ZL114A are produced by weld experiment and its tensile strength have reached 161MPa,175MPa,228MPa.The hardness of welded joint is obtained by the hardness/HV test and it obey the regularity:Welded seam>Base material >HAZ.The fracture of welded seam is brittle and cleavage fracture. It is analyzed by SEM fractographs.The defect on the seam and its reason are analyzed by the microstructure of welded seam.
