With the development of economy, coal takes up the important station in the national production, to our country, because of the limit of the mining conditions, the coal for coking may seriously be hard up in the future. With the development of the iron industry, Large-scale blast furnace, increasing coal injection ratio, coke quality is required much higher. In order to satisfy the demand of iron-making to coke, coal moisture,adding blinder,adding formed-coal,stamping are adopted to improve the quality of coke and save the coal for coking .The seven kinds of blend coal used in the experiment were taken from the representative coke oven ,which included 4.3 m,6.0 m,7.0 m,7.63 m top charging oven, 6.0 m briquetted coal blending coke oven and 4.3 m,6.0 m stamp-charged coke oven.in the paper, different coking process was carried out respectively in the laboratory, analyse the ash, sulfur, porosity, coke cold-state strength and coke thermal property of the coke, and at last, research the influence by different coal preparation and coking to coke to study the way of improving the quality of coke.The result shows that:coking process basically have no influence on the ash and sulfur, but it has great influence on others. compared with the regular coking, coal moisture,adding blinder,adding formed-coal,stamping are all can improve the quality of coke obviously,it can improve the coke anti-broken strength, abrasive strength, reduce the reactivity and enhance the strength after reaction, and the higher volatile, the lower Adhesion of the blending coal, stamping coking would improve the CRI and CSR of coke more effective than formed-coal coking and adding cohere agent coking.Compared the regular coking with the other methods,the relationship between band index ,volatile and the change of quality of coke are as follows: In less volatile situation, bond index is the main factor to determine the quality of coke,taking stamp-charged coking for example, the relationship of thermal property between formed-coal coking and the regular coking coke like this:△M25=0.692+0.227 Vdaf -0.07 G,R2=0.535;△M10=3.794-0.33 Vdaf +0.066 G,R2=0.696, As the volatile is similar,the G is more little, anti-crushing strength is larger,when the G is large enough and Similar,the change is little. Thermal property is affected not only the volatile and the bond index,it also affected by the catalytic index,in the experiment of formed-coal coking, relationship of thermal property between formed-coal coking coke and the regular coking coke was found:△CRI =6.976-0.28Vdaf +0.108G-2.13MCI,R2=0.87;△CSR =-23.49+1.30Vdaf -0.321G+2.70MCI,R2=0.92,When the volatile is the same, the catalytic index is smaller, bond index is larger,the charge of the reactivity and the strength after reaction of coke is more large.
