Formaldehyde is one of the main important indoor pollutants, is one of the main pollutants that harmful to people's health. Detection and treatment of formaldehyde is the research focus of environmental science. At home and abroad, there has been established some analysis methods, and it will become the hot research subject for formaldehyde detection to establish fast, efficient, accurate, high sensitivity, low detection limit and ease operation formaldehyde detecting methods. The main contents are as follows:(1) Using spectrophotometric, fuchsine sulfite as chromogenic agent, study impact of the color system on formaldehyde-Magenta sulfite by different surfactants, find that the improved method not only shorten the reaction time of 80%, but also greatly improve the stability with Triton X-100, and decrease the detection limit, even improve the molar absorption coefficient.(2) Studied at the presence of Triton X-100, the conditions of test formaldehyde in indoor air by fuchsine sulfite strips. The results showed discoloration of the strips can reduce the color developing time, while the color was deeper than before, and the color gradation was clearer.(3) Synthetize Metal organic framework compounds (MOF-5) and optical catalyst TiO2 hybrid material, and characterized their structure and morphology. The results showed that, compared with the pure MOF-5 adsorption or degradation of only TiO2, this mixture is more efficient. It can be used in Indoor air purification and its application prospect will be broad.
