Abstract/Summary:
Ultrasonic test is an important technology for examining the interior inspection in heavy plate. In order to achieve fast, accurate examination and determine for the quality of heavy plate online with ultrasonic flaw detection techniques, the key point is to organically integrate online ultrasonic technology with the plate production process, so that, the eligibility plate production can be realized.Based on the present study, a system with a plate flaw detection equipment to be installed after the rolling line and before shear line, and one out of the three type probe landed on a car system have been established. A local signal amplitude and sound compression technology have been used for the mathematical model of signal compression processing; a method for identifying the deficiencies and the wave bottom has been developed. Also, the quantitative techniques of the defects have been accurately applied to mathematical models to deal with signal detection. By using the model of adding the slope-shaped defect detection alarm threshold and setting the security zone, the near-surface interference detection signal plate is succeed, and the functions of reasonable computer systems have been allocated at all levels. By the using of combination algorithm for the defects, the evaluation of key indicators included the defect length, area, contour and so on can be got, so that, system function of automatic evaluation of defect detection and evaluation have been extended.The heavy plate production can be smoothly carried out by the above system, the optimizing and improving technology of ultrasonic, which the plates can be inspected and judged exactly online. So far, the quality objection has not occurred with the ultrasonic system for the heavy plate mill.
