The diffusive gradients in thin-films (DGT) is a technique that has been used to the measurement of labile metals in waters, soils and sediments. The DGT sampler has several advantages over other techniques proposed for measuring metals in natural waters:(a) it can measure trace metals; (b) the device is easy to use and concentrates metals in situ; (c) it yields time-averaged concentrations over the length of the deployment period; (d) it can not measure all metal species but those species that can be accumulated by the DGT binding phase and pass through the DGT diffusive layer. This study is about the measurement of plumbum by DGT mechanisms with two different liquid binding phases, these binding phases are polyacrylic acid sodium (PAAS) and poly(4-styrenesulfonate) (PSS). DGT devices do not measure all the chemical species of a metal in solutions. It only measures those species that can be accumulated by the DGT binding phase which is one of the advantages for DGT.In this article, the following experiments were carried out at room temperature.First phase were determined by combining the two aqueous PAAS and PSS Sb(Ⅲ) ion diffusion coefficient and the cumulative capacity, Second, the bulk solution investigated the acidity and ionic strength on CDM PAAS DGT and CDM PSS DGT antimony in the ability of water accumulation; Finally, the subject of measuring the real plus of heavy metals in natural waters the concentration of the effective state of antimony. The results showed that 0.0030 mol·L-1 PAAS as binding phase liquid, measurement of the preparation of water recovery can be achieved Sb(Ⅲ) 91.91%, The device of CDM-PAAS-DGT had the the strong ability to bond labile Sb(Ⅲ) in the water, That polyacrylic acid sodium (PAAS) solution can be accumulated the Sb(Ⅲ) in water as a new binding phase liquid of DGT; And 0.020 mol·L-1 PSS as liquid binding phase, The recovery rate only reached 84.18%, The results do not meet with the corresponding one of the conditions for the DGT technology, and revealed that poly(4-styrenesulfonate) (PSS) is ineffective as a binding phase, so poly(4-styrenesulfonate) (PSS) is not suitable accumulated the Sb(III) in water as a new binding phase liquid of DGT.
