Land use change and ecosystem service value can influence and restrict each other, so quantitative study of effect of land use change on ecosystem service value would provide reference for the harmonious development of economic and ecosystem. In this paper, the change of land-use of Xinyi City in Guangdong Province between the year of 1996-2007 was analyzed by using Single Land Use Dynamic Attitude Model with statistical data and information from Land Use Database that combined with field study, thereafter the ecological service value of the Xinyi City was quantitatively studied with reference of coefficient of ecosystem service value. Furthermore, the ecosystem service value of Xinyi City in 2014 and 2020 were predicted by Gray GM (1,1) model, and advice for planning of harmonious development between economic and environment was put forwarded. The results were showed as follow:(1) LUCC between the year of 1996-2007 were changed a lot. Area of garden and construction land were increased mostly, increasing 4,145.83 hm2 and 467.18 hm2 respectively, and the growth rate of them were up to 36.74% and 3.50%, respectively. Area of forest was reduced by 4,617.92 hm2, which was the biggest lose among all using type of land. The areas of other using type of land were changed very slowly during the research period.(2) Analysis of land use transition showed that a lot of forest were transferred into garden and construction land between the year of 1996-2007.(3) The ecosystem service value varied also because of the change of the land use. From 1996 to 2007, it was reduced by 32.6694 million yuan, and annul rate was-0.06%. In single service function, all the ecosystem service values were decreased except food production.(4) Spatial distribution of the ecosystem services value showed that there's a large difference between towns, and the ecosystem service values of Dongzhen, Chidong, Heshui, Shuikou and Zhenlong town that were central towns were all decreased in some degree along with expansion of the city, while that of the town of Dacheng and Qianpai which were major production bases of hawthorn and Sanhua plum were decreased because the garden replaced the forest.(5) The land ecosystem service value per person dropped year by year in the research period. It was dropped from 4,631.42 yuan pre person in 1996 to 3,735.02 yuan per person in 2007, and reduction amplitude was relatively high.(6) Predictions of the ecosystem service value in 2014 and 2020 by Gray GM (1, 1) model indicated that the land ecosystem service value would decrease year by year, and it would be 4,966.2013 million yuan in 2014 and 4,961.1757 million yuan in 2020.The results showed that in study period the development of the economic of the Xinyi City was cost at high damage of the environment, the ecosystem services value was reduced by 32.6694 million yuan. The planning of land use in future should focus on protection of forest that have high ecological service value, improving the service value of the ecosystem, and realization of sustainable development of economic and environment.
