In this paper duplex stainless steel 00Cr25Ni7Mo3N is the investigation object. Hot treatment experiments,pitting corrosion resistance experiments and hot simulation experiments were carried out in laboratory, microstructure and property of the 00Cr25Ni7Mo3N steel were investigated by the optical microscopy,scanning electron microscopy as well as energy spectrum analysis instrument.The effect of Cr,Ni,Mo,N content on mechanical properties, corrosion resistance,and hot plasticity of 00Cr25Ni7Mo3N and its mechanism were studied in this paper. The main works involved as follows:1. The microstructure of 00Cr25Ni7Mo3N was observed and analysed, which can be as the guide of the following tests.2. The mechanical property tests of the solution-treated samples were carried out then analysed the reasons which change the mechanical property.3. The pitting corrosion property tests of the solution-treated samples were carried out then analysed the reasons which change the pitting corrosion resistance property.4. On the basis of laboratory studies, The phase diagram, phase content and PREN for ferrite and austenite have been calculated with the Thermo-Calc thermodynamic software, the comparative analysis with the experiment result has been carried out.5. The hot plasticity (hot tensile,hot compression) experiments of 00Cr25Ni7Mo3N forged steel were made at the Gleeble 1500 thermo-mechanical simulator at the various deformation temperature. The solution-treated microstructures were observed and property were analysed.
