Effluent ammonia concentration of Soil Aquifer Treatment Process was often unstable, even exceeded the Criterion, and the issue was studied in this paper. The kinetics formula of Ammonia degradation in Soil Aquifer Treatment Process was derived by simplifying the process the ideal plug-flow reactor, then influent ammonia concentration, influent dissolved oxygen concentration and effective volume were elected as factors According it.It was found that the three factors had a great impact on the effluent ammonia concentration, Specifically when Influent dissolved oxygen concentration was less than 0.5mg/L, Effluent ammonia concentration may be higher than the influent concentration. Morethan it was found that increasing soil organic matter may not only improve the soil environment to facilitate the growth of nitrifying bacteria, but also enhance the Resistance Shock load capacity of resisting shock load and improve the effective volume, thus reducing the effluent ammonia concentration and keeping it stable.Soil Aquifer Treatment existed several shortcomings when treated rural sewage: (1)The resistance shock load capacity was poor; (2) Effluent ammonia concentration was often both high and unstable. In the paper a new process-Soil Aquifer Treatment Process that enhanced nature reoxygenation was devised to comeover the shortcomings.Effluent ammonia concentration of the process achieved A Standard One Level (less than 5mg/L),because its effective volume reached up to 53%and the influen and internal dissolved oxygen concentration keep more than 1.5mg/L and 0.5mg/L respectivly.
