This thesis is mainly composed of three sections:Firstly, pretreated zeolite into power,then mixed with chitosan power,and prepared the chitosan-zeolite hybrid membrane. Discussed the effect of every factors for the preparation of chitosan-zeolite hybrid membrane, determined the optimum conditions of the preparation, discussed properties of chitosan-zeolite hybrid membrane, such as bibulous rate,acid resistance,mechanical propertics. It was characterized by SEM,FTIR,BET etc.Secondly, systematically studied the chitosan-zeolite hybrid membrane on its adsorption behavior of methyl orange. The results showed that, the optimum experimental conditions are,the blending of chitosan and zeolite powder mess proportion is 20:1, pH value is 3.0, adsorption time is 5 hours, the maximum adsorption is 974mg-g-1. Fitting the experimental data into the related mathematic models showed the isotherm absorption equilibrium conformed to Langmuir model, with the correlation coefficients greater than 0.99, and the absorption process kinetics more adapted to the second-order reaction,with the orrelation coefficients greater than 0.99. Furthermore, the adsorption was an spontaneously endothermic process.Thirdly, the adsorption effect of Pb2+on the hybrid membrane was investigated. The adsorption experimental results showed that the optimum experimental conditions are mass ratio of chitosan to zeolite 5:4 and pH value is 5.0. Adsorption of Pb2+on chitosan-zeolite hybrid membrane accorded with the Langmuir isotherm equation.
