In industrial applications, coal tar is an important chemical raw material, and it has been widely used in many fields, some of which can not be replaced by petrochemical products. Gas absorber oil is the fraction which is cut at a temperature range(230℃~300℃) when coal tar is distillated. China started to study the process of gas absorber oil very early. So far, the means of process and utilization of wash oil is still single, and effect is not good. Wash oil re-sources are wasted and not used reasonably.Coal tar industry is high energy-consuming and serious pollution. As people's attention to environmental is increasing, exploring the green chemical process technology of tar is sig-nificant. Supercritical fluid has an excellent solubility, and extraction products are easy to be separated without complex process .Moreover, there is little impact on environment. In this study, we use supercritical ethanol to extract dibenzofuran, fluorene and acenaphthene, which are in wash oil. We carry on a preliminary study about the mechanism. With the method of constant volume heating, experiment of dibenzofuran, diphenyle-nemethane, acenaphthene extracted by supercritical ethanol was conducted. The characteris-tics of extracted products obtained from the supercritical ethanolysis experiment were ana-lyzed through GC, and the supercritical solubility and the supercritical exhaust percent were calculated. The results show that dibenzofuran and diphenylenemethane have the maximum super-critical solubility under the conditions of temperature at 255℃, pressure at 7.0 MPa, and the maximum supercritical exhaust percent under the conditions of temperature at 265℃, pres-sure at 11.0 MPa. There is not significant regularity of acenaphthene in supercritical ethanol. There is significant discrepance in supercritical extracted gas absorber oil. The solvent is re-cyclable after experiment of extraction.
