The monitoring in steady state of opencast slope is the most important job in open-pit mine's safety production. The Lingquan open-pit mine is now in the early period of pit closed. There are still 6Mt extract residual coal, in order to safety and reliability strip them, the current systems need some changes. The residual coal is in the lower part of mine pit, the transportation distance is longer than ordinary. In order to mining the residual coal reliably, safely and economically, meanwhile solves more than 1000 staff's work problems, maintenance society's stability, the present mining craft needs transformation. The paper in view of this open-pit mine's peculiar circumstance, change the mining craft from single dipppers-railroad into dipppers-trucks, change the operating line's promoting direction from tendency to tendency. The truck curve frontier is small, climbing power is high, make full use of these characteristics, forms steep gang in the partial small scope, coordination the fast in row and stability of slope monitor and achieves the maximum limit in mining the residual coal.Beacuse of the changing of mining craft, the working slope change into non-working wall, the angle of slope along with mining unceasing enlargement, the slope's stability needs analysis again. Considers the quarternary deposit is composition with fine sand, clay and the gravel, use the rigid limited equilibrium method to carry on computer simulation, analyzes and determines the related parameter in slope stability. Acorrding these, carries on the open-pit mine residual coal's mining design and the side slope stability appraisal, proposes the regulatory measures of slope stability. The same or similar conditions for the mine production of reference.
