Organic materials with large conjugate"π"bridge possess strong inner-molecule charge transfer under suitable condition so they have strong two-photon absorption (TPA) and intense two-photon fluorescence (TPF). In this paper, five compounds have been synthesized by Heck and Suzuki reactions, abbreviated as CPTZ1, CPTZ2, BAnC, BTSAC and BTAC. Firstly, the influence of proton upon one-photon and two-photon fluorescence about these two compounds (CPTZ1 and CPTZ2) has been discussed. Secondly, the composite of 4-(pyridine-2-yl)benzothiadiazole chromophores and ZnS nanomaterial were prepared and the corresponding optical properties were investigated. Finally, three compounds'(BAnC, BTSAC and BTAC) UV-Vis absorption, one-photon fluorescence properties in aggregation state have been measured. The results have shown as follows:1. The influence of proton upon one-photon and two-photon fluorescence about these two compounds has been discussed. Stern-Volmer equation gives that the S-V constants ( kSV1P) of one-photon fluorescence of CPTZ1 and CPTZ2 are 0.04 M-1 and 0.10 M-1, respectively; while the kSV2P of two-photon fluorescence of CPTZ1 and CPTZ2 are 0.20 M-1 and 0.22 M-1, respectively. Obviously, two-photon fluorescence detection presented more sensitivity than one-photon fluorescence response, which exhibits the potential application of two-photon sensor in pH detection.2. The influence of ZnS nano-material upon UV-Vis absorption, one-photon and two-photon fluorescence about these three compounds (CPTZ1, CPTZ2 and 8-hydroxyquinolin) has been discussed. It shows that two-photon fluorescence of CPTZ2 was enhanced by 15.5%. And the fluorescence of 8-hydroxyquinolin was enhanced by 2-4 times, 116-nm red-shift was observed.3. The optical property of BAnC, BTSAC and BTAC was discussed in aggregation state. Two compounds of BAnC and BTSAC exhibited aggregation-induced emission enhancement (AIEE) behavior, but BTAC exhibited fluorescence quenching behavior.
