In this paper, toluene diisocyanate (TDI) and polyether polyols are selected as raw materials, firstly dehydrated polyether polyols and TDI are polymerizated of prepolymer in highly vacuum, and then acted with the additive like extender to form the final solvent-free one-component moisture-curable polyurethane coating (refered to PU-1 coating), it is a rust-tolerant coating, discussing the choose of raw material resin, reactive diluent and defoamer and how do the amount of chain extension agent and metal oxide defoamer affect the coating performance, use Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) and thermogravimetric analyzer (TGA) to characterize the structure and thermal stability; test the main properties, the results show that the properties of PU-1 coating are much better compared to domestic heavy duty coating standard, expecially adhesiom salt fog resistance and ultraviolet radiation aging resistance.to test the adhesion of PU-1 coating at different temperatures with different substrates, to discuss and analyse the source of and changes of adhesion; use FTIR to dynamically monitor the curing process,discuss and analyse the curing kinetics; electrochemically test the electrode open circuit potential (OCP) and linear polarization resistance (Rp) of epoxy,hydroxyacid and PU-1 coating,the results show that PU-1 coating has excellent overall corrosion resistance, and then discuss the anticorrosion mechanism.
