On the basis of the development and selection of new scouring agents and new bleaching stabilizers, the feasibility was studied. It refers to using tow-step pretreat -ment processes including soda scouring and oxygen bleaching to replace three-step pretreatment processes including soda scouring, chlorine bleaching and oxygen bleach -ing. The destination was to cut short the pretreatment process, and to realize good or better effects in the pretreatment of linen blended fabric as well.Firstly, two chelating agents were synthesized. One of them was iminodisuccinic acid. It's optimal synthetic conditions being confirmed through comparative study on the products'chelating performance are listed as follows. n (maleic anhydride): n (sodium hydroxide): n (ammonia) :n (distilled water) = 2:1:2:16, reaction temperature is 150℃, reaction time is 10 h. According to the test, the product being synthesized with the optimal conditions possesses good control to the decomposition of hydrogen peroxide under the condition of 100℃, good resistance to alkaline and good chelating ability to metal ions in the condition of alkali concentration of 40g/L. Acrylic acid-maleic anhydride copolymer(PAA-MA)'s optimal synthetic conditions being confirmed through comparative study on the product's chelating performance and dispersion force are listed as follows.n (MA) : n (AA) = 1. 5, initiator dosage in the total quality of monomer is 7%, dropping time for acrylic acid and initiator is 90min, polymerization temperature is 80℃, polymerization time is 2 h. According to the test, the product being synthesized with the optimal conditions possesses better chelating ability to different metal ions when compared with stabilizers GJ101 and sodium silicate, and good control to the decomposition of hydrogen peroxide under the condition of 100℃.Secondly, application property was studied separately on the basis of the synthesis of two kinds of chelating agents. When being used alone, the dosage of each chelating agent must be few. When the dosage was over1g/L, it produced poor effects in the pretreatment of the fabric. Therefor, iminodisuccinic acid was blended with anionic polyacrylamide and magnesium sulfate. In the meanwhile acrylic acid-maleic anhydride copolymer was blended with disodium phosphate and magnesium sulfate. In this way two compounded stabilizers were created, and being tested on the chelating performance and the stability to hydrogen peroxide. And through the investigation to their application performance, it was concluded that when acrylic acid -maleic anhydride copolymer being blended with disodium phosphate and magnesium sulfate, the new compounded stabilizer as a new kind of oxygen bleaching stabilizer possesses as good effects in the pretreatment of fabric as sodium silicate with the dosage of 4g/L, and better effects in the pretreatment of fabric than stabilizer GJ101. Finally, four kinds of scouring auxiliaries were chosen. Each auxiliary's dosage being confirmed through comparative study on the performance of the pretreated fabric were listed as follows: the dosage of anthraquinone is 0.2 g/L; the dosage of hemp skin removal agent is 3.5 g/L; the dosage of NaHSO3 is 3.5 g/L and the dosage of acrylic acid-maleic anhydride copolymer is 1g/L. When the fabric was treated with the new confirmed scouring craft and the optimal designed oxygen bleaching process together, the fabric's pretreatment effects would be better than the conventional process. The fabric's pretreatment effects are listed as follows: fabric's blue whiteness (Wr) is 76.16; capillary effect is 14.9cm/30min; strength loss is 9.1%; hemp skin removal rate is 97.3%; Lignin content is 2.3%. Different index of the fabric treated by the tow-step pretreatment process including soda scouring and oxygen bleaching were all better than three-step pretreatment process including soda scouring, chlorine bleac -hing and oxygen bleaching. As well as, the treated fabric wouldn't produce fabric holes. In this research, the pretreatment of the linen blended fabric completely without chlorine was realized. Using tow-step pretreatment craft including soda scouring and oxygen bleaching instead of three-step pretreatment craft including soda scouring , chlorine bleaching and oxygen bleaching cut short the time. There is of significance to energy saving, consumption reduction and environmental protection.
