This paper study on separation of minim cobalt from nickel sulfate and nickel chloride.The paper introduce two methods to remove cobalt from nickel salt solution.One is deposition,the other is inorganic ion exchange.And study on the factors,as amount of reagent, pH,temperature,time, make sure the best condition.Nickel sulfate and nickel chloride have studied by deposition.Through the orthogonal test,and factors test,indicate that the best condition of remove cobalt from nickel sulfate and nickel chloride solution.The best condition of nickel sulfate solution is that, reagent is 2.5 times theory amount, sorbent is 1g/100ml,pH is 2.5, the cobalt of nickel chloride can be effectively removed.The residual coblat amount is reduce from 158mg/l to about 3mg/l;The best condition of nickel chloride solution is that, reagent is 4 times theory amount, sorbent is 0.4~0.6g,pH is 1.5,the cobalt of nickel chloride can be effectively removed.The residual coblat amount is reduce from 60mg/l to about 10mg/l.Nickel sulfate have studied by inorganic ion exchange.Experiment result indicate that,the the cobalt of nickel sulfate can be remove by ion exchange,the best condition is pH is 4.5, sorbent is 1.5g,time is 90min,and the cobalt of nickel sulfate can be removed.The residual coblat amount is reduce from 158mg/l to about 37.54mg/l.To compare the two method, deposition method is better than inorganic ion exchange, can remove cobalt from nickel salt solution effectively.But compare with the removal of nickel sulfate solution,the cobalt of nickel chloride solution is much difficult to remove.
