The feature of friction between cylinder liner and piston ring affects all the technical and economic indexes, uses and service life and emission of pollutant of internal combustion engine directly. Therefore, the wear and lubrication of Cylinder liner and piston ring have always been paid attention during internal combustion engine design and use, by researchers who design internal combustion engine. In recent years, the LST is applied in surface dealing of automation engine liner, it improves the lubrication feature of friction, prolongs the service life of engine visibly. In this article, micro-modeling technique of laser surface is used in surface dealing of cylinder liner of motor'engine, it is valuable in theory research and useful in project in some extent.It will introduce processing technology and analyze several processing ways for typical topography on cylinder liner according to this technology requirement. The implementation of control system is researched based on this technology, state the basic component and control principle of the system. The system is comprised by the part of laser and optical line, work station, the control part used to control laser and work station, auxiliary equipment. It mainly research on the development of hardware system design of laser honing special equipment and control software which are based on YAG laser, industry machine, sport control card. To hardware, it states the constitute of control system and work mechanism, and introduces the internal control principle and external interface of control card PCI6050 in detail, raised the cooperation control between laser and sport control system based on 6050 control card, realizing the micro-processing of topography such as reentrant, groove, reticulate in the inner layer of cylinder liner. It is the core technique and key of laser honing equipment. To software, it states how to communicate among the application program and PCI6050, and finish all the machining process to ensure that the machining process goes smoothly by using C++ Builder and dynamic link library technique; meanwhile, using OpenGL to deploy dynamic simulation for the machining process of the system. At last, it does laser honing simulation experiment of several typical topography, which proves the performance of the system.
