This thesis consists of two parts. The first part is the synthesis and study of two novel amphiphilic compounds. The second part is the the synthesis and study of functional metalloporphyrin compounds.PartⅠ: In this part, two kinds of novel amphiphilic compounds have been designed and synthesized which were modified by hydrophobic groups of porphyrin and cholesterol.They are N,N-bis(3-(2-aminoethylamino)-3-oxopropyl)-4-(benzyloxy tetraphenyl-porphyrin) ben-za mide and Cholesteryl-4-{[N, N-bis(3-(2-aminoethylamino)-3-oxopropyl)amino]methyl} ben- zoate that used for studying the mechanism of Gemini surfactant entering the cells as genetic carriers.Their molecular structures were characerized by IR,UV-vis,1HNMR.The LB films of this two kinds surfactants have been prepared and their properties were studied, to provide references for the follow-up research of the new surfactants/DNA compound properties.PartⅡ: In this section, take the application of porphyrin compounds in molecular sensing material as the background, we have designed and synthesized the meso-tetra(o-aminophenyl) porphyrin and their zinc metal complexes, such asαβαβ-PivPP,ααββ-PivPP,αααβ-PivPP,αααα-PivPP,αβαβ-ZnPivPP,ααββ-ZnPivPP,αααβ-ZnPivPP andαααα-ZnPivPP. In order to regulation the gather parameter of porphyrin molecules and improve their gas detection performance. Their molecular structuers were characerized by IR,UV-vis,1HNMR,HRMS,AES.We have studied the reaction of zinc porphyrin in the respects of the choice of solvent, reaction temperature, response time and the amount of raw materials. The optimum reaction conditions are as follows:n (PivPP):n (C4H6O4Zn·2(H2O))=1:10, V(CH3OH):V(CHC13) = 1:2. reaction temperature is 56℃, response 2h. The LB films of PivPP and Zn-PivPP have been prepared and their properties were studied, to provides references for the follow-up research of the PivPP and Zn-PivPP functions'application in gas detection as a gas sensing materials.
