Taking two industrial fluidized bed reactors of ethylene oxychlorination as the research objects, characteristics of oxychlorination in fluidized bed reactors were studied and analyzed. Two mathematical models of reactors designed by Mitsui Chemical Inc. in Japan and Uhde Company in Germany were developed, with suitable kinetic parameters of reaction network and tanks-in-series model on the basis of two-phase theory. The model parameters were calculated based on a large number of industrial data by Matlab software, and the reactor models were tested with other industrial data. The results showed that the simulation value and industry value were anastomosed basically, and the reactor models were effective. Moreover, it's proved to be effective that the tanks-in-series model was developed in fluidized bed reactor without baffles. On the base of the above, the optimal operating conditions of two reactors under various production loads were obtained by simulation respectively, which could be considered as operation basis in industrial reactors. What's more, neural network soft sensing model of Mitsui Chemical reactor based on mass industrial data was built. The optimal operating conditions were obtained with response surface method, and the research results and those of mechanism model above were anastomosed basically.
