Phthalic acid esters (PAEs) is a kind of important organic compound. As plasticizers are widely used in the production of human life, the potential effects of environmental hormones on ecological and human health threats are present in varying degrees. This paper select carp, the representative species of the ecological environment, as the research object. And combine some biomarkers in the molecular level of ecotoxicology, as xanthine oxidase (XOD), catalase (CAT), malonaldehyde (MDA), acid phosphate (ACP) and alkaline phosphate (ALP), in order to research the effect of this classic environment hormone on carp, and then has a preliminary discussion of the mechanism of this compound works for the aquatic. The main conclusions are as follows:The LC50 values of 96 hours DBP to carp are 16.30 mg·L-1, the safe concentration is 1.63 mg·L-1; The LC50 values of 96 hours DEHP to carp are 37.95 mg·L-1,the safe concentration is 3.80 mg·L-1; The LC50 values of 96 hours DEP to carp are 41.50 mg·L-1, the safe concentration is 4.15 mg·L-1; The LC50 values of 96 hours DOP to carp are 7.95 mg·L-1, the safe concentration is 0.80 mg·L-With increasing of the concentration and exposure time, the liver, as an important organ affected by DBP and DEHP, the activity of XOD, CAT and MDA content in liver changes significantly, and when the two compounds are exposed together, the trend of this change is more obvious. The impact of DBP and DEHP on XOD activity of the carp increases as the concentration and exposure time increases. The impact of DBP and DEHP on CAT activity of the carp is induced at the frist time and restrained then. This is because in the first stage of exposure, the damage of the pollution to the body are most sensitive, and the activity of CAT increased significantly in the body in order to protect itself. The impact of DBP and DEHP on MDA activity of the carp increased as the concentration increased. The impact of DEP and DOP on ACP activity of liver and muscle tissues of the carp show the same trends:they are all induced in low concentration and restrained in high concentration; The impact of DEP on ALP activity of liver and muscle tissues of the carp also show the same trends as the ACP; The impact of DOP on ALP activity of liver of the carp reduced as the exposure concentration increased, it showed a clear dose-response relationship. The research of this paper shows that:the CAT, XOD, MDA, ALP and ACP could be used as early warning indicators and the biomarkers of the carp which were damaged by PAEs.
