It has so many advantages using bio-trickling filter to remove volatile organic compounds (VOCs) at present. It is used to remove low concentration VOCs frequently, especially to those insoluble VOCs. There are more and more research on this technology in the domestic and foreign recently. There will be more extensive application in using bio-trickling filter to organic waste gas treatment in the future. In this paper, we use xylene, methylene chloride, ethyl acetate and other common organic pollutants as the goal substrate, which emerged by chemical industry product process. We domesticate mixed bacteria to degrade these pollutants, and improve the microbiological degradation ability by changing the operation condition. After get optimized microorganisms, we use the mixed bacteria to dispose o-xylene waste gas in bio-trickling filter, in order to get one that with high mass transfer characteristics. On the basis of the optimal selection of bio-trickling filter and biological packing, we investigate the empty bed gas residence time, the inlet concentration of o-xylene, the microbial vaccination concentration and the pH influence on the removal efficiency, and get process operation parameters by investigating those condition finally. We study the solubility of goal pollutants in the water by using different types of surfactants, we do research on the influence of microbial cell growth and the o-xylene removal efficiency by the ion surfactants, and we get biochemical properties is stable. After that we investigate effection on the o-xylene waste gas removal efficiency by changing the substrate, operating mode and other processing factors, in order to provide basic data for the industrial application in the future.According to the chemical industry organic waste gas emissions by actual components and the problems encountered in the actual operation process, we simulated design waste gas treatment plan and provide guidance to the experiment.
