Dye wastewater has complex composition, poor biodegradability, decolorize difficulty, some characteristics of toxicity. As one of the points in the degradation of industry wastewater, dye wastewater is difficult to be treated by common methods.Electrochemical oxidation processes, as a technology that no secondary pollution, good capability to deal with pollutants, mild reaction conditions been concerned by researchers. The high-efficiency electrode such as the DSA(Dimensionally Stable Anode) has been an important research direction. The experimental preparation Ti/SnO2-Sb2O3 electrode as the anode, and the test of SEM and XRD shows that this electrode has better catalytic-activity, stronger bonding between bottom-layer and external-layer and longer life. This experiment selected a representative of a certain dye:Acid Blue 62 and Reactive Red 3BS, and the SnO2-Sb2O3/Ti electrode was prepared by coat of the corresponding metal chlorides on titanium substrates and thermal decomposition. The electrode was used for the electro-catalytic oxidative degradation of Acid Blue 62 and Reactive Red 3BS. The bulk electrolysis was performed under the constant current operation in the two-dimensional reactor. It was observed that the removal rate of Acid Blue 62 was 99.15% after 1h electrolysis under the following conditions:current density=15mA/cm2, NaCl=5g/L, pH=3, L(distance between anode and cathode)=2cm, initial Acid Blue 62 concentration=200mg/L the removal rate of Reactive Red 3BS was 99% after lh electrolysis under the following conditions:current density=20mA/cm2, NaCl=4g/L, pH=5, L(distance between anode and cathode)=2cm, initial Reactive Red 3BS concentration=200mg/L. Show that the method for the degradation of dye wastewater has a good effect and clear of the method in high concentrations, biodegradable and has a toxic organic wastewater biological treatment has certain competitive. The experiment investigated macro kinetics of electro-catalytic oxidation of degradation of dye wastewater. It was indicated by the research that the degradation of the Acid Blue 62 and Reactive Red 3BS both conform to the first order kinetics.
