| UV curing is a new green environmental protection technical. It has many advantages, such as low-pollution, fast curing speed, high-performance, high speed and automatic, which was widely used in coatings, inks, adhesives and other fields. UV-curable system is composed of photoinitiator, oligomers, reactive diluents and variety of additives. Photo-curable resin is the largest components in UV-curable system, and it determines the properties of UV-cured product. In this paper, synthesis and application of new UV-curable resin was investigated, and then the structural characterize and formulation of resin was also researced.Appliction research was initially completed in the liquid-ray imaging coating and plastic coating1. Firstly, photosensitive alkali soluble resin was synthesized by using bisphenol A epoxy resin(E51), acrylic acid(AA) and succinic anhydride(SA). Secondly, semi-capping modification(PIA) was synthesized from Hydroxy-terminated polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS), isophorone diisocyanate(IPDI), and hydroxyethyl acrylate(HEA). Finally, PIA was incorporated into photosensitive alkali soluble resin. The PIA modified photosensitive alkali soluble resin was characterized by using FTIR, 1H-NMR, GPC, and tensile strength was measured to evaluate the physical properties. The investigation showed the introduction of PDMS improved the thermal properties and tensile strength of UV-curable resin. PIA-REA51-2 as the main resin was prepared for liquid-ray imaging coating. After exposure, developing and drying, the performance of coating was improved greatly, especially acid resistance and mechanaicl properties, and obtained an excellent novel liquid-ray imaging coating.2. The polycarbonate-based polyurethane acrylate(PCDL-PUA) oligomers were synthesized by polycarbonate diols(PCDL), isophorone diisocyanate (IPDI) and different end-capping groups(HEMA or PET3A). The structure of product was characterized by FTIR, 1H-NMR, GPC, TGA and tensile strength was measured to evaluate the physical properties. The results showed that the higher the oxygen content in the polyol the higher the weight loss. The tensile strength, shore A hardness, pencil hardness decreased with increasing molecular weight of the PCDL. The tensile strength and shore A hardness with tri-acrylate functionality on end-capping groups were much higher than those of the other dispersions with monomethacrylate functionality. The structure and molecular weight of PCDL, with different end-capping groups affect nature of UV-curable resin. PCDL-PUA as the main resin was preparation of UV-curable coating in plastic, and the properties was investigated inspection of the structure, molecular weight of PCDL and end-capping group. The results showed the adhesion of coating was 0 grade, pencil hardness was more than 2H, and had good acid resistance, alkali resistance, oleic acid resistance, ethanol resistance, which obtained an excellent UV-curable plastic coating PCDL-PUA system. |
